It all started with an old Beatles record and a tennis racket.
After a few years of piano lessons there came a need for a bass player in the church band in which my dad played guitar. I was 13 when I volunteered. A couple of years later I picked up my dad's guitar and an Mel Bay EZ Chord Book and I've been playing both guitar and bass ever since.
I've been playing and enjoying all sorts of music. Classic rock, punk, new wave, hair metal, grunge, pop-rock, gospel, R&B, bluegrass, and all points in between. From an early age I have been a voracious consumer of all things musical.
As the newest addition to Broken Stone I hope to bring an added dimension to the group. So when you see us out and see the short, furry, ill-tempered beastie on one side of the stage, don't be frightened. It's not a badger or a wolverine (in fact I'm a Buckeye). It's just the bass player. He's mostly harmless.
